After Touring in various rock bands over the years, I then went on to gain a record deal with the band Seducer, releasing a single two albums and an E.P. Later on I formed and toured extensively in Mental Helicopters.

I studied Classical Guitar first under Martin Shaw and later under International Classical Guitarist John Mills, but was drawn towards Rock Guitar after hearing Jimi Hendrix and Gary Moore,

I have taught at various Youth & Adult Education Centres as well as Summer Schools.

My teaching methods use a combination of ideas originating from the Guitar Institute in Hollywood USA & London England. These involve simplifying certain aspects of theory & practice, allowing for a fast yet relatively easy approach to playing, improvising and changing key anywhere on the neck of the guitar.

My Acoustic guitar teaching leans towards players such as Gordon Giltrap and Eric Roche.

I teach at your own home. My teaching area is Elmbridge (Esher, Oxshott, Cobham, Weybridge,Chertsey, Byfleet), but will travel further, if I'm able to.
